This Will Have To Do

This post was supposed to be me showing off my 2020 Topps Series 1 finds today, but when I arrived at Target this morning there was none to be found. So this will have to do .

There is a good chance I arrived at Target too early. It was about 8:15 and I had just dropped my son off at school. There were a lot of employees stocking shelves as I wandered the store picking up a few extra things. My guess is the store just hasn’t put out their 2020 Topps Series 1 yet.

In the mean time, a recent mail day filled another slot in my quest for a complete 1989 Topps set (with the errors and all).

Oliva is one of my top 5 Minnesota Twins and I have wanted this card long before I decided to attempt a complete 1989 Topps set.

This brings me to just 82 cards left on my 1989 set, which is 90.1% of a master set!

Hopefully I will have something more in the line of “2020” to show tomorrow…

That 1964 Topps card that never was is pretty cool. Topps should print it out and include it in their Archives Fan Favorites set.
