It has been approximately 735 days since my last blog post. That is just over two years. My absence was mostly due to the pandemic with an eight year old and being burn out. Thankfully, TCDB kept me interested in cards.
I have been using SportLots for about a year. It’s a great place to purchase cards with a value too cheap for eBay or comc. It has been excellent for helping fill my hockey older sets.
After a few months of searching for the 1987 Topps Urbano Lugo error card, the trading card database came through. All it required was a few cards in trade.
Another week, another mail bag. The trading card database has been a lot of fun. I have completed a few trades and my sets are getting closer to completion.
I have come to consider completing a 1991 Topps master set a rabbit hole. The set never ends. There are more errors and variations that I can count. Thankfully there are other people out who have developed some what of an obsession with this set like me.
With only a few weeks of using the trading card database, I was able to start three trades. Today one of the trades arrived along with a few eBay purchases for my 2019 Heritage set build.
