Mail Bag Recap #4

Well, I made it another week. I cannot believe the mail bag has made four posts. Thankfully, I have been able to acquire enough cards to keep this going.

My addiction to junk wax buybacks continues. I have a steady flow of Minnesota Twins buybacks coming to my mailbox. The prices on these buybacks have really dropped in the past few weeks. That’s good news for me!

More Bob Allison cards? That’s right. I cannot get enough Bob Allison cards for my collection. He was a really underrated player for the Twins.

Trevor May is out for the year and Jose Berrios will start down in triple-a. This appears to be bad news for the Minnesota Twins, but that hasn’t stopped me from picking up their cards. I grabbed a nice Bowman’s Best Orange Refractor Jose Berrios, which was needed for the rainbow I am attempting to put together.

There were high hopes for Trevor May this season, but I guess we will have to wait another year to see if he improves.

I have been buying more basketball lately. About a week ago, I put myself in a few 2016-17 Panini Select basketball breaks hoping to get some Timberwolves. I managed to get some Kris Dunn rookies, but I also won a very nice Russell Westbrook Green Prizm /5 and a John Wall Tie-Dye Die-Cut Prizm /35. These are great looking cards.

That wraps up mail bag number four! I hope to be back next week with another haul of sports card goodness.
