The first time I saw this card, I laughed. Since then, I have been attempting to collect the different variations. I will tell you why this card is great.
I came across the 2017-18 Upper Deck #157 on comc while searching for Paul Martin over a year ago. I immediately purchased the card and began to purchase what variations I could find.
Notice the fan on the left with the look of shock on her face. The lady on the right cannot stop laughing…
To top it off, Paul is checking Milan Lucic into the boards, which I assume made the crowd cheer because it’s Milan Lucic.

Lol. The expression on the face of the lady (on the left) is awesome. I wonder if she knows she has been immortalized on a hockey card. And it’s gotta feel good knowing that the only card you need for this collection is the base card.
It would be awesome to be in the crowd on a card like this– especially one with this much character. This whole “rainbow” has been somewhat easy to collect as the cards have been fairly cheap to purchase.

Hmmm. A celebrity would make an even better back story to this card.
