After a few months of searching for the 1987 Topps Urbano Lugo error card, the trading card database came through. All it required was a few cards in trade.
Last October I wrote a post In Search Of Urbano Lugo. I was having a hard time looking for a 1987 Topps #92 Urbano Lugo error. This card doesn’t seem that rare, but it at the time eBay didn’t have any for sale and it’s hard to find errors and variations on SportLots.

I was able to find multiple copies of this card and proposed a trade to TCDB member Kaline66. He accepted and we both sent out our plain white envelopes. Less than a week later the card arrived.
This card brings my 1987 set to 99.7% of a master set with the last two cards coming from comc.
The trading card database has been such a great resource for set building. Thanks again to Kaline66 for the trade!

Congratulations on landing this card. I remember it being listed in Becketts back in the day. It’s cool that there are collectors out there who are still chasing down all of the different errors and variations from this set.
Thanks. It is one of those cards that is not-that-rare, but rare enough to make it tough to track down.
Are you collecting blank backs/fronts from this set at all?
Nope. I’ve never had much interest in blank fronts or backs. It’s busy enough chasing glow backs, non-glow backs, and bold backs.
How did I miss this card? I’ll have to go get one for my team set now.
I wish I had another. I would gladly send it to you.
