Mail Bag Recap #5

Welcome to Mail Bag #5! I seem to surprise myself each week that my blogging has lasted this long. By now I usually have lost steam and my blog has entered hibernation. Anyways, this week’s bag is light compared to previous mail bags, but it has some serious punch.

A few Twins

A few quick eBay purchases yielded me a few Miguel Sano 2016 Bowman’s Best Refractors. 2016 Bowman’s Best is quickly becoming a favorite of mine; Nice design at a decent price.

A junk wax buyback 2017 Topps Rediscover Topps Dan Gladden also came into my possession.

I won a prize!

Fellow sports card blogger @DubMentality recently held a giveaway on Twitter. I was re-tweeting his contest to help spread the word and inadvertently entered myself in the contest… in which I ended up winning.

Some time later I received a few junk wax packs in the mail. It was a lot of fun to open late 80’s cards. I highly recommend it.

The 1989 Topps rack pack contained all the fun. So many memories…

The monsters

Along with the packs, @DubMentality included two incredibly rare and valuable autographed cards that were limited to eight signed copies each!

Please do not contact me asking to buy these! They are already on their way to Beckett for grading.

Thank you for reading.

Update: Please stop contacting me to purchase the Joey Shiver autographs. They are not for sale!
