Mail Bag Recap #1

This month’s mail bag is heavy on Minnesota Football and baseball. However, this time I was able to get my hands on a Timberwolves card.

Even more David Cobb

I am constantly looking for more David Cobb additions, but finding cards I don’t have (within my budget) is becoming a chore. This month I was able to snag a 2015 Topps Chrome Football Super Rookie Pulsar Refractor /25 David Cobb. This card has everything I like; David Cobb, chrome stock, refractor, mini, and serial numbered. I also found this 2015 Topps Fire Rookie Autographed Patches Blue /75 David Cobb for really cheap on eBay.

More golden gophers

I didn’t get as “into” football in 2016 due to the lack of University of Minnesota Golden Gopher rookies. In 2015 there was Maxx Williams and David Cobb, which gave me plenty to chase.

Only a few Gopher defensive stand-outs were drafted onto some NFL rosters, but made little appearance in the product releases. I have been picking up cheap Eric Murray and Briean Boddy-Calhoun cards as I find them.

Just a little basketball

I don’t collect a whole lot of basketball right now as it is very expensive if you are a Minnesota Timberwolves fan. So here sits my lone 2015-16 Panini Threads Precision Players Gold /25 Andrew Wiggins.

Any and all Twins

I was only able to snag a few Twins cards this month. All were base cards and rookies. With my collecting focus shifting away from football and more towards baseball, I plan on acquiring a lot more Twins this year.

Matthew,

Thanks for the tip– Luckily, I already follow his blog. There seem to be quite a few Twins collectors in the sport card blog realm.
